We currently have five games on offer:

  1. D&D 5th Edition – Ravenloft setting.
  2. Band of Blades – a military and fantasy story about a group of soldiers in a long retreat from a catastrophic defeat while being pursued by the undead enemy. It’s based on the Blades in the Dark system, which is itself an outgrowth of Powered by the Apocalypse.
  3. Metro – a game inspired by the novel Metro 2033, using the Ellipses RPG system.
  4. After the Bomb – a post-apocalypse, mutant animal game, using a variant of the Basic Roleplaying (BRP) system.
  5. Deadlands – adventures in the Weird West.

All the games have spaces for new or returning players.

Happy gaming!

Hello everyone,

With Christmas fast approaching, it’s time to start organising games for the upcoming Winter quarter.

With our current numbers, I think we’re looking at three games. I will be running one game, so we need at least two other people to run something. Can you let me know if you want to referee a game and, if so, what game or games you would be prepared to run? I’ll kick things off with a long list of games that I’m considering running:

  1. Blue Planet (hard sci-fi RPG, set two hundred years from now on a water planet in the Lambda Serpentis system, 35 light years from Earth)
  2. Nyambe (fantasy Africa setting, using my D10 homebrew system)
  3. Call of Cthulhu (Victorian or 1920s setting)
  4. After the Bomb (mutant animals, using a modified version of the Basic Roleplaying [BRP] system)
  5. Dark Sun (D&D campaign setting set in the fictional, post-apocalyptic desert world of Athas, but not using the D&D rules)

Cheers,

Matt

Hi all,

Next week is the first Thursday of the new quarter at the Harrogate Roleplayers Club. There are currently four games on offer, but only about half of the group have signed up for – or are running – a game. Deadlands is unfortunately now full.

If everyone who hasn’t yet signed up for a game could have a think about the game or games that they’re interested in playing before next Thursday, that would be really helpful. If anyone has any questions about Blue Planet specifically, please email me or post a question underneath this post.

Here are the games and the people who’re currently signed up for them:

Pathfinder (Referee: Chris C)

Deadlands (Referee: Rob)
